What is the difference between General Items and Specified Items insurance?
General Valuables are clothing and personal items of yours that are usually worn, carried or used away from home (not including any Specified Valuables). Specified Valuables are items that you have listed by name in your valuables insurance policy, and have insured for a specific replacement value in the case of them being lost, stolen or damaged.
What type of items can I insure, and under what conditions?
Old Mutual iWYZE valuables insurance will allow you to insure the following items under certain conditions as laid out in your Policy Schedule:

- Non-factory-fitted vehicle sound equipment
- Specified clothing and personal items
- Mobile phones

What types of items are not covered?
Old Mutual iWYZE is unable to cover the following items under a valuables insurance policy:
- Unset gemstones
- Brittle or fragile items
- Electrical household items not designed to be carried on one’s person
- Money and documents
